Seen the car James by cutting and pasting the link some would say that you've paid over the odds for this (given that you may have paid screen price or near, that's only a presumption! ) but i'm a great believer in things are worth what they are to the person who buys them, whether it's £100 or £1000, i dont think there's a hard and fast rule to banger prices anymore what with scrappage etc. There just dosent seem to be the choice of cars under £500 anymore that there used to be. (Just something i've seen!)

She does look like a beauty, and being a Sterling, rare. I hope you enjoy it James and that this Rover isn't a dog that bites your hand mate!:-)

No way is that overpriced, look at the condition of it! Worth every penny in my book. Pay less, get less.

Long story and all that but it actually cost £240 which was even nicer and so far worth every single penny.

Just wanted to say that i wasn't making a dig at Rovers when i mentioned price they are a very comfy car from the ones i owned and if i had the cash to run one then i'd love a 600, especially one in that fantastic metallic turquoise colour they used to do it in. A lot of people get the jitters when you mention Rover as they instantly think "BL" even if it's a Rover 75, old reputations die hard...

Rovamota knows his stuff and has had more Rovers than we've had hot breakfasts...and they do have their knockers, but pick the right model and they are a comfy way to travel...
