James, nice. You have my full approval, and even better if it has the 2.7 Honda engine installed, though the 2.0 T-Series lump is a good second choice. It'll serve you well, and a nice price too. Well done. Kev.

It's the Honda engine and apart from the passenger seat recline motor everything works. I knew you would approve. I am using it on a Bangers for Ben charity run in November, going from Southampton, which is your neck of the woods to John O Groats and Back and then it gets auctioned for charity, so hey you could buy it! Currently it is my everyday car so will do a fair few thousand in the next week or two. Full pics and stuff to follow. It will be decorated before the run in an appropriate fashion, I'll keep you posted...

That's great, and, you have to admit, Rover did luxury interiors better than anyone else this side of a Bentley, and that motor is a delight. If you let us know when you're coming down I'll wave you on your way. Kev.

To be honest the interior is rather grubby and the family are all pitching in to give it a deep clean. leather grubby, but air con oddly works, part of fascia has a bit of surround missing and two buttons missing from the radio which works really well. Front wheelarches are crumbly....I will let you know when it all kicks off...

Nothing that can't be sorted, but for your needs it doesn't really matter. Working A/C is always a bonus. Kev.

Yes on Monday I am taking it to my local garage to stick it on a ramp to make sure that it won't kill me. Looking at brakes and things...probably will just change oil and filter too. Does the school run really well at the moment and I will be sorry to see it go to be honest. Might have to buy another...
