PostSubject: How much biodiesel can I legally store or transport?   Fri Sep 20, 2013 4:58 pm

I run the scenic on bio when I get the chance to fill up but its 30 min drive to the nearest pump so normally end up on normal dino juice. What I cant seem to get an answer is to is how much am I allowed to either store at home or how much I am allowed to carry in the car? My thinking is to get a months supply at once but that means filling the tank plus 5x 20ltr fuel cans. What i have found is that you are allowed only 2x 10ltr metal and 2x 5ltr plastic cans of petrol or diesel. I am already at my plastic can limit with petrol for the lawn mowers and other gardening tools.

What gets me is that biodiesel is basically waste vegetable oil so should not be a problem should it as there is no limit to the amount of veg iol you can carry???
