I've had plenty of much more expensive cars, but this thing dates from '98, cost me about £1500 and other than needing brakes has been solid for a bit over a year so far.

Everything works, she has a beautiful and comfortable grey leather interior, wafts along in near silence and drives like a much youngr car. I even get 30 mpg on a good run (actually, a bit over). I bought it as a stopgap, but like it so much I plan to keep it for as long as it stays reliable.

No interior pics - I ought to take some, though.

As you might have gathered, I like big cars Wink

y'know, it astonishes me how much luxury car you can get for peanuts these days.

When I bought the Lexus I had a choice of that, a nice-looking BMW728i, a couple of Merc CLKs, an S-class and even an Audi A8 4.2 quattro! All relatively nearby.

I went for the Lexus simply because, being Japanese, I figured it would probably be the most reliable. Still kinda wish I'd been brave and gone for the A8 though Wink
