To be honest that one looks better suited as a parts donor to keep another on the road. These things can rot like you wouldn't believe and parts are a cost nightmare.

Either that or the banger racing boys will buy it.

Its in the ball park I say it could from purchase price so long as it didnt need too many parts and you could do any work yourself meaning no labour charges :Wky:

Running costs though that's another thing :W:

Then again it could be your weekend banger :Ha:

There is nothing that says you have to stick with convention and replace the hubcaps, carpet and mascot with rolls royce items either Rolling Eyes

Think outside the box and anything is possible, besides if you can do the work yourself there is nothing stopping you smoking around in it for weekend tea and scones then selling it for a profit that makes Bangernomics sense :Wky:

Mind you sell the engine make some money from that and replace it with something more economical Rolling Eyes

This video is a bit poor for first minute or so but after that you will get the idea :Wky:

Food for thought?

Plenty of them in America have had the Rolls V8 removed and replaced with some Yank iron. The killer cost is suspension and brake parts for which you are generally stuffed, not much you can do other than replace like for like!! Brake discs and pads cost more than most people will pay for a complete taxed and MoT'd five year old car!

There was a rolly poly
in my buds garage for over a year
Needed brakes and suspension overhaul,
think it was a '74, he hadnt a clue where to start
phoned an independent roller mechanic,
he came over and had up in the air,
checked it over and quoted trade price......
hold on..............
3800 for parts alone
The guy was told, and he flogged it on to some poor unassuming chap
