Vauxhall Combo, bought for 200, been written off just needing a front strut, and a small dent in the front wing.

Tidied up and used for work for 3 odd years, then scrapped.

Might sound daft, but I prefer it to the 7 series, it's got much more character Wink

Great collection of cars Thumb

I think the Corolla proves even if you go over the price that is considered Bangernomics budget it is still Bangernomics if you keep the car long enough for it not to owe you anything :Wky:

And the 7 Series proves you can drive a top draw Prestige car on banger money :Ha:

Also makes you think whether the term Banger is appropriate?

Banger Money for sure but its amazing what buy now for less than the deposit on a new car finance agreement Rolling Eyes

Plus it was 70odd grand new!

I just sold an 325i Mtec that had a little crack in the dash, at this age they do get fragile, but what a cracking car!

Not really as it wasn't mine, it was a friends who emigrated to Aus and he couldn't afford the import duty as apparently the emissions are a joke!

But it was fun to drive, especially in the wet, i wanted to buy it but didn't have the cash at the time :Cry2:

I love the E30 325i sport and really wanted one. I drove one once and it was creamy smooth. I ended up buying a rare E30 318iS 16v which looking back I regret selling :Cr:

Oh lord those old 7 series are the dogs doodahs
The kickdown is awesome Shock
and the bells and whistles you get are unreal. the seats seemed to have infinite electric motors in them
going for a song nowadays as they are quite addicted to the old bang fluid lm

My old 735i still had the original invoice with it
cost 65,350 new brought by a Dr in Manchester
I got it a fair few years later for 750
