I think it depends on the car and its value so its a difficult question to answer, for example if the car cost just a few hundred then not far at all, but on the other hand that might depend on the car? if say it was a couple of grand then the same applies.

We traveled around 200 miles to get the Benz and feel it was worth it Thumb

It depends on the car I guess and you would know deep down if it was worth traveling to get the right car :Wky:

I agree it does depend on the car and value I was just interested. I must admit I have only travelled a long way for higher value interesting cars.

Oops, I must be the wrong way up! The everyday cars I've bought have always seemed to be closer than the bargains! Living in sunny Shropshire, I've travelled to Crewe, Sheffield and even Essex for cars. Most of them have come from eBay after a boring couple of nights lol searching

I had a fellow travel from london to paisley (near glasgow) for a clapt out scrap heap nissan sunny im sure his flights would have been more than the car why I will never know

I have never really traveled that far less than 100 miles for any car, well apart from this one i was home with the parents in Northern Ireland for Xmas and just brought it back over here when I was coming so not gone out of my way

I'm a bit lazy and like local, but ive sold cars to coal miners from up north, up to car traders from west Ireland, it takes all sorts and I spose people will travel for the right car at the right price if you provide good info and are genuine.
