PostSubject: Is there an Alternative to Kurust?   Mon Feb 04, 2013 6:29 am

Just found some surface rust on one of my door jambs Sad

Ok its not serious but I dont want it to get any worse Rolling Eyes

As im out of Kurust before I go get a new bottle just wondered if theres anything that is better and possibly cheaper?

I find Kurust a little too watery and Jenolite very messy

What are the alternatives to nutralise the rust ready for sealing with paint?

Thanks

Jodie Smile

A late reply, but my suggestion would be Vactan. Not sure if it's actually better or just different. A watery consistency is what you're looking for on bodywork really - better penetration into cracks/pits that are hard to get brush bristles in to and dries thin so doesn't stand too proud of the original paint.
