Hello all,

Not new to bangernomics, but new to the site, this is the first time I've tried bangernomics and not ran another car alongside, and I'm not at all nervous.

I needed to replace my not-very-old Citroen C2 after a flood rendered it a damp squib in all senses of the term.

Anyway, I paid a colleague 30 in diseasal to drive me from Sunderland to Keighly to buy this, and took it without a test drive, it was buried at the back of a car dealership forecourt, two months out of tax, with a thick layer of dust on it and a dead battery.

Once the battery was charged, I insured it and drove it without missing a beat from Keighly to Sunderland for less than 20 in petrol.

2000 Honda Accord 2.0 Vtec Se Executive Sport, to give it it's full name. 116,000 when I bought it in July, and just flipped over to 123,000 this week. Flew through an MOT on Friday, and since I bought it I've replaced the front drop links and front tyres at reasonable cost. True bangernomics at 400.

That is indeed LEATHER.

Lovely motor IMHO. One of the best bangers I've ever ran.
