Hi guys, just a short intro.

Started out in the '70s with a nine year old Anglia and here I am in 2012 with a seventeen year old Fiesta. Must have a kink for clattering valve gear.

Fiesta still going well @ 94000 miles, used to blow blue smoke on first start of day which I took to be worn valve seals / guides, switched to GTX High Mileage 15w40 and it's barely noticeable now. Think they have recently switched the formulation to semi synthetic and dropped the High Mileage tag. No rust around the petrol filler, a weakness on the Ka also, just get some dirt under your nails and dig out the crud built up between the filler pipe and wing.

Cheers for now

Dave

Brilliant, Anglias! We must be the same age. Simple cars that we could all work on. Thanks Dave.....Admin

XR2s are great, you don't see many around, but a 1600E that's my idea of Ford heaven...
