Welcome Aboard Robbo, that's a fine collection you have there. Lots of miles and low prices, brilliant. It is just trying to convince more people to join us. They can save money and forget about depreciation for ever. Good to have you around.

Hi Robbo. Nice fleet! I also like the high milers. I have a 2001 A4 1.9 Tdi with 165k and a 2000 Alfa 156 2.4 JTD with 145k. Not as many as your Golf I know but we're getting there! The Audi has been a great car. It's the Avant like yours so reasonably practical and has been so reliable over the 4 years and 60k miles we have owned it. The Alfa was a last minute purchase off ebay. Cost 875 pounds but have nearly spent the same again as had been a bit neglected. Never mind, really puts a grin on your face and hope it will be reliable now. Also, no real depreciation to speak off. That's the best thing about older cars, especially high mile diesels!

Oh, I also have a 'toy'. 1987 Toyota MR2 mk1 and that has done 139k and still very reliable but petrol of course. Love it to bits.
